Insulin injectors, as the name suggests, are injectors specially used to inject insulin. Usually consists of four parts, namely needle cap, injection needle, syringe, and pusher.

The reason why a special injector should be used for injecting insulin can not be replaced by a general injector, because the scale units marked by the two are different. The scale marked on the special injector for insulin is the unit of insulin, while the scale on the general injector is milliliters. The minimum unit of a general injector is usually 0.1 ml, which is equivalent to 4 units of insulin after conversion, and the insulin dose required by most patients is not an integer multiple of 4. Therefore, if a general injector is used, the patient not only needs to convert the dose and volume, but also it is difficult to accurately extract the required dose.
