Vaccine needle assembly machine is the equipment to complete the injection process of vaccines. The vaccine needle is bifurcated with a retractable needle and a cannula. The needle body retracts in the direction of arrow in FIG. 6. The retractable needle is coupled to a plunger. The plunger is axially moveable within a barrel. The syringe is provided with prefilled fluid contents.
The needle assembly machine includes a barrel, a plunger, a syringe, a needle seal, and a mounting member. A plunger seal comprises an outer member, an inner member, and an inner needle-engaging portion. The plunger seal preferably comprises a stop to prevent forward travel.
The mounting member is typically fixed inside the barrel. The needle mount comprises a screw thread. The needle mount engages a complementary screw thread on the mounting member. The needle mount is mounted to the barrel by a screw thread.
The syringe comprises a barrel, a plunger, and a cannula. The barrel is provided with prefilled fluid contents. The syringe is usually auto-disable type. The manufacturer-filled syringe can be stored for a long time after the rubber tip cap is removed.
The needle seal is mounted inside the barrel. The seal is made up of a sealing base 41. The sealing base 41 seals against the inside wall 18 of the barrel.
A replaceable needle assembly is mounted on the barrel. The replaceable needle assembly may include a cannula, a retractable needle, and a screw thread covering the cannula.
