Method/Step
Unscrew the front knob of the lancing pen
Load the disposable lancet into the pen.
Remove the needle cap of the disposable lancet
Put the cap back on.
Adjust the scale of the lancing pen, generally there are 5 scales. For the first use, we usually adjust to scale 2. After using it a few times, we can find a scale suitable for the thickness of the skin of our fingers.
Press the spring button
Hold the front end of the lancet close to the tip of your finger, press the switch at the bottom, you don't feel any pain, and the blood collection is complete. Because the blood collection needle is very thin, there may be no bleeding when punctured. You can gently squeeze the needle at the puncture site, and you can see the bleeding. Just work with your blood glucose meter. (Due to the difference in the machine, the method of blood collection for different blood sugar test strips is slightly different, and it can be done according to your own machine.
Finally, remember to discard the lancet in a safe place, especially if there are children at home, in case the child picks it up and causes an accident.
